Beneficiaries
By nominating beneficiaries you’re letting us know who should receive your super benefits if you pass away, so you can be sure it goes to the right people. There are two types of nominations you can make:
- Non-binding nomination tells us who your preferred beneficiaries are, but leaves us some discretion when it comes to paying your benefit. From 1 July 2026 you'll no longer be able to add or edit a non-binding nomination. You can make a binding nomination by completing the binding beneficiary nomination form.
- Binding nomination means your benefit must be paid to your nominated beneficiary. As long as the binding nomination is valid, the Trustee must follow your instructions. You can make a binding nomination by completing the binding beneficiary nomination form.
